WebHi all, I am trying to read a stack of DDS-4 tapes in order to restore some old backups for a project I'm helping a few friends with. I can't seem to get the tape drive to read any of the tapes using dd or tar - dd is preferred, since I don't know what tools were used to create the backups tapes, and would rather just save the entire file and figure it out from there.
