WebI highly recommend The Lion War patch for the PSX version over all others. It is the best way to play FFT. Period. It has the majority of content from later ports, but preserves the original quality which was lost with each subsequent port. The sound quality alone of the PSP/mobile ports is unacceptable, and I can't stress enough avoiding them. WebDespite the fact it looks like a glitch, the slower animations are an intended change related to a problem with the PSP reading the UMD. At some point with normal speed like the original release, the game was reseting or the UMD disk usually stopped reading, so this method it's a kind of "fix" to make it playable without risk.
